Portland · Victoria

Slow food.
Warm room.
Long evenings.

A small, considered eatery on the southwest Victorian coast — where the produce is local, the menu is honest, and the hospitality is the dish that doesn't appear on the bill.

Our story

A small place, by people who care.

Lilijana opened in 2024 on Portland's main street — a tiny, twenty-four-seat room with one open kitchen, a wood fire, and a shelf of natural wine you'll want to drink your way through.

Almost everything on the plate is grown, fished or made within an hour of here. We change the menu when the seasons do, and we cook the way our grandmothers taught us — slowly, generously, and with butter.
